Privacy Policy

AnnualReady is an aircraft-owner preparation and communication tool. It helps you document observations, organize notes, and create a packet for your mechanic. It is not a maintenance-record system, airworthiness tool, or shop management platform.

Information the app stores

Information you enter stays on your iPhone or iPad unless you choose to share it. That can include:

• Aircraft details such as tail number, make, model, serial number, and annual due date
• Squawks, notes, photos, videos, audio, and attached files
• Owner-recorded aircraft time, maintenance reminders, oil notes, expenses, and components
• Summaries of imported avionics flight logs, such as flight time, tach, Hobbs, and engine values you choose to save
• Voice transcriptions created on your device
• Owner-prepared PDF mechanic packets you generate
• App preferences, such as the selected aircraft and reminder settings

This information is stored locally using Apple’s on-device storage. Optional iCloud sync may be offered later. If it is, it will be described here before it is turned on.

Avionics flight-log import

If you import a flight-data CSV from compatible avionics or an engine monitor, AnnualReady reads that file on your device. The app uses it to suggest aircraft time, maintenance remaining, and a flight-history summary. AnnualReady does not keep the original CSV unless you separately save it as a document.

Imported flight data is not uploaded to an AnnualReady server. GPS tracks, engine parameters, fuel figures, and aircraft registration from those files are not sent to analytics or advertising services.

Information we do not collect

In the current version, AnnualReady does not:

• Create user accounts or require a login
• Operate a custom AnnualReady cloud backend
• Sell personal information
• Use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs

Permissions

The app may ask for access only to provide features you choose to use:

• Camera and photos to attach pictures of discrepancies
• Microphone to record a spoken description
• Speech recognition to transcribe that description on device when available
• Notifications for optional annual-preparation reminders you enable
• Files when you choose a flight-data CSV or other document to import. AnnualReady reads the file you select and then releases access.

You can deny or later revoke these permissions in iOS Settings. Doing so may disable the related feature.

Sharing

If you generate a mechanic packet or use the system share sheet, you choose where that file goes — for example Mail, AirDrop, Files, or Print. AnnualReady does not send that packet to a mechanic for you.

Apple services you already use, such as iCloud or Speech, are governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

Purchases

Optional AnnualReady Lifetime is sold through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple processes the payment. AnnualReady does not receive your full payment card details.

Children

AnnualReady is intended for aircraft owners and operators. It is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
