AfterShift

Privacy Policy

Last updated 24 September 2026

AfterShift is made by Adapperdemon. It is a local app for restaurant workers. There is no account. There is no AfterShift server that stores your hours.

What stays on your phone

The kitchens you add, the shifts you clock, close-out notes, rates, paycheck checks, and income targets are saved in the AfterShift database on that iPhone. Deleting the app deletes that record, unless you have a device backup.

What the app can access, and why

Camera and photos. You can pick a photo of the posted schedule. AfterShift reads the text on this phone so those shifts can go on the board. The photo is not uploaded.

Microphone and speech. On the way out you can tap Talk instead of typing. Recognition stays on the phone when the phone can do it. If it cannot, Apple’s speech service may process that short clip. AfterShift does not keep the audio.

Notifications. Next shift, a clock-in reminder, and still-on-the-line are scheduled on the phone. They are not sent through an AfterShift server.

Purchases. AfterShift Full is a one-time unlock sold by Apple. Apple processes the payment. AfterShift never sees your card. Restore purchases asks Apple whether this Apple ID already bought Full.

What we do not do

No account. No analytics SDK. No advertising. No selling or sharing of work data. No tracking across apps.

Children

AfterShift is for working adults. It is not directed at children under 13.

Your choices

You can deny camera, microphone, speech, or notifications. The board still works if you type. You can delete a kitchen or delete the app.
